Biography
At the age of twelve, Miranda began her training in the Vaganova method with Diane Lewis at Hochstein School of Music and Dance in Rochester, NY, where she also studied flamenco with Lisa Piccione and modern under Christopher Morrison of Garth Fagan Dance Company. She later studied at other studios including the Rock School in Philadelphia and Cheshire Dance Centre in Connecticut, where she passed her Grade 8 and 9 Cecchetti Examinations and was honored to be cast as the Sugar Plum Fairy in Cecchetti Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker.She has attended summer programs with Briansky Saratoga Ballet, the American Academy of Ballet at Purchase, NY, the Joffrey School in Manhattan, the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, BalletMet, and most recently Princeton Ballet School.
Her favorite roles include Odette from Swan Lake and the Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker, and she hopes someday to perform in Giselle and Romeo and Juliet.
Miranda has collaborated with her husband Greg Lennox (formerly Greg Bomke) on Terpsichore Stock, a photographic venture intended to make quality dance images available online.
She lives in New Jersey, where she is in her second year as a trainee with American Repertory Ballet.
Outside of dance, she enjoys singing, playing various musical instruments, and practicing yoga.
